From Vision to Groundbreaking: Our Post-Partum Unit Journey

We are thrilled to share some major news. On February 19, 2026, we officially received the approved construction permit from our local authority. We have already begun reviewing bids from construction companies and are finalizing our roadmap.

A warm greeting to our wonderful community. We hope this update finds you well and blessed. As we look back on the path that brought us here, we are constantly in awe of God’s faithfulness and the unwavering support you have shown Jona Clinic.

A Journey of 31 Kilometers

On November 15, 2025, many of you joined us—in spirit and in action—as we embarked on a 31 km (19.2 mile) sponsored walk from Jona Clinic to Mtshabezi Mission Hospital. Our goal was clear: to raise the necessary funds for a dedicated Post-Partum Unit at JoNa Clinic.

You listened, you walked with us, and you gave generously. Because of you, a dream that started as a prayer is now becoming a reality.

The Latest Milestone: Permits and Planning

We are thrilled to share some major news. On February 19, 2026, we officially received the approved construction permit from our local authority. We have already begun reviewing bids from construction companies and are finalizing our roadmap.

Our faith is our foundation. While we estimate the total project cost to be at least $50,000 USD, we rest in the knowledge that “the earth and everything in it belongs to Him.” We plan to break ground this April, trusting that the funds will continue to flow as the walls go up.

How You Can Help Us Build

We are blessed by our environment; the river sand, pit sand, and water are available to us for free. As soon as the rains subside, our team will begin transporting these materials to the site.

To help you see the scope of this project, we have outlined our Bill of Quantities. If you feel led, you may choose to donate toward a specific need:

MaterialQuantity Needed
Industrial Bricks35,000
Face Bricks15,000
Cement500 Bags
Quarry Stone40 Tons
HardwareBrick force, air vents, steel, windows, and doors

Run the Race With Us

You have been part of our journey for a long time, and we are asking you to continue running this race with us until the finish line. Every brick laid represents a mother and child who will receive safe, compassionate care.

We appreciate you, and we pray for you daily.
